Conversely it has never been harder for content, brands and IP to achieve sustained visibility"

Why TILT?

With the growth of online media, the traditional barriers to entry for IP owners have reduced significantly. This has created vast choice for the consumer and a very crowded market for the industry. It has therefore never been more important to develop a clear brand and licensing strategy in order to generate sustained brand loyalty.

TILT gives companies the necessary tools, information and knowledge to truly maximise the value of their brands and IP for the long term in an environment that is experiencing greater disruption than ever before.

It's about looking beyond short-term revenue generation.

It's about understanding what is required to create a consumer products programme that encompasses a multitude of experiences enjoyed by fans.

It's about generating brand loyalty for many years to come.

Andrew Carley

Andrew Carley worked at eOne as EVP Global Licensing for 12 years – joining in 2007. During that time, he directed the Peppa Pig licensing business from a retail sales value of approximately $30million to a $1billion global business. He grew his team of 3 into an integrated structure of 100 based in offices in New York, Melbourne, San Paulo, Hong Kong, Shanghai and Brazil as well as London. He has also overseen the global roll out of the PJ Masks licensing programme, which over the past 2 years has seen extraordinary success in all key markets around the world, becoming the #2 pre school licensing programme in the USA by value, and with almost 1000 licensees globally.

Andrew's experience enables him to understand the global team structures and resources required to run a successful licensing programme. Importantly he also understands the cultural differences that impact not only on team dynamics but also on the product offering and consumer expectations.

His approach to planning, launching and developing licensing programmes is always to develop long term campaigns underpinned with similarly aligned partners. Key to the success is creating fully integrated programmes encompassing licensing, product development marketing and content development and content distribution.

Importantly he also understands the changing landscape of content distribution and the importance of integrating content distribution regardless of platform into the broader licensing programme.

Prior to eOne Andrew worked at CPLG where he managed entertainment and sport properties including Star Wars, FIFA World Cup and the English FA.

He is a board member of the global licensing trade association LIMA and speaks regularly at conferences around the world.
